FASHION DESIGN STUDIO INTERN

Hello Fashion Students!
The Kut Studios is offering opportunities for fashion design students to gain experience in the Fashion Design Industry.
We are in need of 2 Fashion Design Studio Interns for our Co-Working Fashion Design & Sewing Studio located in the LA Fashion District.

DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to the following, depending on the qualifications of the candidate:

Update and organize sample The Kut Kollective Sample Showroom
Styling Mannequins and showroom floor displays
Organize sewing studio
Assist with In-house photoshoots
Help clients with sewing machine functions
Shipping and receiving merchandise and equipment
Assist sewing manager with projects
Assist with client recruitment and Social Media outreach

Create showroom and studio Social Media content
Data entry and some clerical work

DESIRED SKILLS:
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Industrial Sewing Machine and Home Sewing Machine experience and knowledge A MUST
Basic Sewing and Designing knowledge A MUST
Proficient in Social Media Apps (i.e. Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, You Tube), Word, Excel and Gmail. 
 

HOURS:
Part-time and full-time hours are available. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 8:00 pm and Saturday – Sunday 9:00 am – 6:00pm
Flexible hours and days
You get to pick your hours based on a minimum of 10 hours / week
